Examination
After a thorough consultation and examination with Dr. Lathrop you will also have a chiropractic examination. At times Dr. Lathrop may also consult with our acupuncture and oriental medicine specialist.
Report of Findings and Treatment Recommendations
Once the information and examinations have been performed you will receive a report of findings and be informed of our staff’s recommendations for your pain and its related injury or condition treatment.
Treatment
Treatment plans vary according to the injury or condition.
Acute (recent) pain injuries can be healed quite rapidly (generally 50-75% faster than with conventional treatment).
Chronic pain and its related injury or condition may take several weeks or longer.
Treatment times may be as short as 15-20 minutes to as long as an hour depending on your pain and injury or condition and the modalities best suited for you.
Most of our patients begin to experience pain reduction and relief however, in the very early stages. We do the best we can to set proper expectations for the course or length of treatment - and yet can not make any guarantees as each individual will respond individually.
